Szizzle Designs is growing quickly! Last year we out-grew the two bedrooms in our home and moved into a dedicated studio space near downtown Binghamton, NY. We’re now looking to hire some part-time employees with the goal of building an amazing team. We’ve broken up our needs in to a couple of categories, but we’re open to finding a single amazing unicorn who can do it all and help us grow our super fun business!
We’ll be honest: we have no idea how many hours to start with. Let’s talk about your availability and future goals, and if we feel you’re a perfect fit we’ll come up with a plan that’ll be mutually beneficial.

Seamstress
Seeking a seamstress to assist a custom swimwear and fitness apparel designer with streamlining order fulfillment.
No sewing experience required, but much be teachable. An eye for fashion and aesthetics is a must. Must be detail-oriented and efficient, and can prioritize and work independently. A passion for fitness and bodybuilding is a plus, as we work primarily with that population.
Job includes light cleaning, keeping well organized, and assisting with inventory management.
Part-time, $15/hour, 10 hours per week to start.
Work hours are flexible, but for the initial/training period they’ll be evenings and weekends. Primary work location is near downtown Binghamton, NY, with a secondary location next to the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City, NY. Equipment necessary to perform job duties will be provided.

Marketing and Business Admin
Seeking a marketing and administrative assistant to help a custom swimwear and fitness apparel designer grow her online presence, upkeep her website, schedule clients, maintain databases, manage inventory, and perform light bookkeeping tasks.
Job requires the use of Microsoft Word and Excel (or their equivalents) and QuickBooks. No QuickBooks experience is required, but must be teachable. Some social media marketing and internet search/advertising skills and experience is required. A passion for fitness and bodybuilding is a plus, as we work primarily with that population. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, organized, and can prioritize work.
Job seeker shall use their own phone, tablet, and/or computer, along with their own data service (cellular, WiFi), word processing and spreadsheet programs. These are not provided by the Company at this time. Company will provide access to an online Quickbooks account, an Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop subscription if needed, and will pay for photo and/or video editing apps needed to perform the job.

EVENT Promotion
Seeking fit-ish models to promote and assist Jayme with exhibits at events. Job includes assisting with booth set-up and take-down, modeling Company apparel, engaging with potential clients, handing out flyers, collecting leads, and posting on social media. Must be professional, engaged, and have a fun attitude. Job responsibility includes learning about the company and process so that you can answer simple questions and promote the company.
Candidate must have reliable transportation, be punctual, and willing to attend events the entire day. Model is expected to wear glam makeup and styled hair to join the vibe of the competing athletes.
Gig-based, flat fee per event plus provided apparel. Transportation and hotel not provided, so models local to the event areas are preferred.
